| Are You Ready for a
Strange Adventure? This summer, Mr. Strange is diversifying. I'll still be teaching people how to kayak or canoe. But I will also be offering some other adventures and learning experiences. Take a look below. If anything looks interesting, click on it for more info. "Climb a Mountain with Mr. Strange" The trail to the summit of Mt. Tamany is approximately 1.5 miles long and climbs appox. 1200 feet. Though a challenging hike, it is well within the reach of any healthy 1st - 4th grader. Bring your hiking boots and be ready to use them. Along the way we'll look for critters, climb some rocks have lunch and look down on birds soaring below us. "Become an Author" Mr. Strange will work with a 2nd to 4th grader to write, illustrate and self publish an original book. Over a series of sessions, Mr. S will help the student to develop his or her ideas, plan out pages, create illustrations and finally layout and publish a book. The student will receive a full-color hardcover copy of the book and can choose to make the book available for purchase.
