Are You Ready for a Strange Adventure?

The trail to the summit of Mt. Tamany is approximately 1.5 miles long and climbs appox. 1200 feet. While it is well within the reach of any healthy 1st -4th grader, it is a strenuous hike. Participants are expected to wear hiking boots and be ready to use them. I don't plan on carrying anyone.
Along the way we'll look for critters, climb some rocks, learn a little bit about using a compass and GPS receiver, and look down on birds soaring below us.
Last year we saw two bears!

Dates are still to be determined. Mr. Strange will work with full groups of 3 to 5 to arrange a date. Hikers will meet at Pascal park on the morning of the hike at 8:00am, will leave by 8:20am and will return by 3:30pm.

Group size and Costs: The cost per hiker starts at $100.00 but goes down as more hikers join the trip (up to a maximum of 5 hikers). Trips include travel to and from, lunch at the summit, and snacks and drinks along the way. Mr. Strange will be leading the hikes and another adult will accompany.
